Telecells
The telecell contains a radio control processor, lighting control and monitoring circuitry, together with an electricity meter. The unit is directly powered off the mains supply it is controlling and thus requires no additional connections. There are four physical types of telecell:

Conduit telecell |

| Conduit version of NEMA socket unit. This consists of the NEMA socket unit but with separate leads for connection to lighting control unit inside the luminaire. The unit base is secured in the 20mm hole in the luminaire and the wires fit through this hole. | ![]() |
For installation inside luminaire or column and with lead for connection to a separate antenna. This enables a range of possible off-the-shelf antenna to be used to best suit the given physical requirement. | ![]() |
