Key Account Manager, Sales 006 – Georgia, Atlanta (Home Based)

The job role:

This role will provide significant focus on Telensa’s largest customers in order to enhance and strengthen our relationship with the identified key accounts across North America. The incumbent will be the key point of communications to/from Telensa and the key accounts ensuring Telensa is delivering on its commitments with the full support of Telensa’s leadership team.

 

The successful applicant will build relationships with the customer base and internally to ensure customer satisfaction and will therefore require a detailed understanding of the product and service offering.

As the Telensa Key Account Manager you will:

  • Develop close relationships with key stakeholders and influencers at the key accounts.
  • Make sure the staff at the key accounts receive all the information they need to make best use of our products and services.
  • Generate sales forecasts and solicit orders to ensure smooth logistics.
  • Be the first line of contact for resolving any supply or payment issues.
  • Be capable of providing a first level (only) of technical support to answer customer questions.
  • When necessary, present and demonstrate our system and assist customers and partners in making best use of our products.
  • Track annual Support and Maintenance contracts and invoicing
  • Work with the Regional Sales Managers and North America EVP to create Key Account Plans for business development
  • Arrange Quarterly Business Review meetings with Key Account Customers
  • Act as a conduit for customer needs or frustrations and communicate internally.
  • Contribute to new opportunity generation by networking internally and externally
  • Manage and deliver responses to sales enquiries from the key accounts, coordinating with technical and engineering teams.
  • Assist with creating or modifying product and sales and marketing materials to meet local needs.
  • Participate in promotional activities.

You will be required to have the following experience:

  • Sales or customer service background.
  • Track record of success selling to or supporting contractors and/or local authorities.
  • Ability to understand and communicate the benefits of Telensa products and services.
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Track record of building close business relationships
  • A desire and ability to build and grow with the business.
  • Energetic with a can-do attitude.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
  • Excellent communication skills:
    • Listening
    • Business writing
    • Presentation
    • Verbal – great telephone manner
  • Experienced user of CRM tools such as Salesforce, Spreadsheets and forecasting.

 

The below is Desirable:

  • Qualified to Degree level
  • Technical sales in lighting, networks, communications or control systems
  • Experience with Salesforce
