Telensa works closely with Microsoft in smart cities, and several of its solutions are powered by the Microsoft Azure cloud platform, supporting IoT, cloud, AI and Edge technologies. These include the Urban Data Project solution that creates a trust infrastructure for urban data - one that enables cities to collect, protect and use their data for the benefit of all citizens. In smart street lighting, Azure powers the smart city dashboard for light-connected sensors.

Telensa products are manufactured at the Sony UK Technology Centre in Pencoed, Wales. Through a worldwide network of facilities, Sony offers state of the art manufacturing technology, expert teams and operates to stringent Green Partner standards.

Telensa is working with Samsung SDS on smart street lighting, leveraging Brightics IoT, a powerful data platform specialized in retrieving and analysing big data, powered by AI. Samsung SDS is working with Telensa on the Urban Data Project, a collaborative solution that creates a trust infrastructure for urban data, one that enables cities to collect, protect and use their data for the benefit of all citizens.

Kainos is a global Digital Services provider and a leading Microsoft Gold Cloud Platform partner based in Belfast. Telensa is working closely with Kainos in the Urban Data Project. Kainos is the lead partner building and supporting the City Data Guardian trust platform - collecting and protecting data as part of the Urban Data Project smart cities initiative.

Plextek solves today’s hardest engineering problems in sensing, data collection and communications. Since spinning out Telensa in 2015, Plextek continues to support Telensa with a range of engineering expertise.

Telensa is a Qualcomm Smart Cities Provider. Telensa streetlight-based Multi-Sensor Pods, a key element of the Urban Data Project, are powered by the Qualcomm® SDM845 processor. The SDM845 supports heterogeneous computing and on-device Artificial Intelligence (AI), designed to allow the sensors to extract detailed real-time insights from the raw data and eliminate much of the cost of moving data to the cloud.

InTouch SmartWater is an innovative approach to drainage asset management and flood prevention. The solution provides a staged, managed approach to gully cleansing, drainage information gathering and management of gully cleansing. The system uses sensor technologies and real time weather data to help predict and prevent flooding. The system also provides automated flood alerts.
