Local Council Road Innovation Group’s (LCRIG) flagship annual conference, networking event and awards ceremony, bringing together the whole highways community and celebrating the amazing work that is taking place in the sector.
An opportunity to learn about new innovations and technology, share experiences, receive updates from the DfT and network across the two days in the glittering setting of the Ballroom at the Winter Gardens.
Last year’s event saw more than 370 delegates attend over the two days, with representation from more than 70 different highway authorities from across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland as well as representation from the Department for Transport (DfT), academia, industry associations, the supply chain and media.
The event hosts the coveted Special Recognition Awards on behalf of Department for Transport (DfT). Established by the late Steve Berry OBE, the Department for Transport’s former head of highways maintenance, innovation and resilience, these awards recognise companies and individuals who have gone the extra mile to deliver change in the sector.
